The event will take place in Sophia Antipolis science park, between Nice and Cannes on the French Riviera. The nearest airport is Nice international and the nearest train station Antibes.

Sophia Antipolis is well served with local amenities including hotels, restaurants and shops. It enjoys a Mediterranean climate, which means that it is hot in the summer and relatively mild for the rest of the year.

French is the local language. The local currency is the Euro but local cash machines will accept international Visa and Mastercard.

Visa

If you are visiting from outside the EU, you may need a Visa. If you are not sure, check with your local French embassy. ETSI can provide you with a personal invitation in order to assist you with your application.

Taxi

From the airport it is a 25 minute journey by taxi to Sophia Antipolis. The approximate cost of this is 50 €. Alternatively you can book from this list in advance and benefit from an ETSI discounted rate.

Driving from Nice on the motorway:

- Exit N°44: Antibes – Sophia-Antipolis
- Pass under the motorway - direction Antibes
- At the roundabout take the direction: Vallauris – Valbonne – Sophia- Antipolis on the road RD 103 named “Route du Parc” – be careful as there is an automatic radar - 70Km/h speed limit.
- At the roundabout “Les Bouillides” (large roundabout with timber pergolas), follow “Les Bouillides” by turning to the right, and then at the small roundabout “Les Dolines”, follow the direction “Accès 8 à 12” by taking the road on your left.
- On the “Route des Crêtes”, 300 meters after the crossroads “Les Dolines”, the Espaces Antipolis is on your right (Free visitors parking 20 meters after the main entrance).
